Shipment / Return Shipment Policies (New, Used and Vintage Gear)
Sales Tax: We are only registered to collect sales tax in the State of Tennessee. Shipments that are destined to any Tennessee location will be charged 7% for State sales Tax. Additional county taxes apply for Rutherford County (9.75% total).
No Post Office Boxes for UPS or FEDEX Orders: UPS and FEDEX will not ship to Post Office Boxes. Please keep this in mind when ordering, if you list a P.O. Box we will have to contact you for another shipping address, and this will delay your order by at least TWO business days.
Other Tips for your Safety and Security: Next Day Air ordered on a Thursday would ship on Friday, and the next business day for Next Day Air Delivery would be Monday. All orders will be shipped the next business morning, anything received before Noon (CST/CDT) will be shipped that day. Please think of safety when shipping to an address. If it is unsafe to leave a box out front, you may want to receive the box personally instead of letting UPS or FEDEX drop it at your door. If UPS or FEDEX shows the package has been received, and you cannot find the package, then you receiving your product could be delayed by 30 days or more due to the UPS or FEDEX procedures. This process is completely up to UPS or FEDEX to fulfill and we have our hands tied at this point.
Damaged Items in Transit: You must report damaged goods to us within 3 days of receiving the package. UPS and FEDEX have policies on damaged goods and we only have a certain amount of time to get them to pay for the damage. If you see that a box is damaged from shipping, please open the box in front of the carrier and inspect the product. If the product is broken you should refuse the shipment to expedite receiving another product from us.
Receipt of Freight by Common Carrier: For your benefit, inspect ALL merchandise before signing, or write ‘Not for Hidden Damages’ on the bill of lading. Otherwise, the carrier denies damage claims and we cannot be liable. By signing, you are accepting possession of the products and they are now your property.
Refused Orders: Products that are refused when UPS, FEDEX or other carriers attempt to deliver the product(s) are assessed a minimum 20% restocking fee plus all shipping charges.
We Do NOT Ship to International Addresses: We are sorry, but we do not ship to international addresses at this time.
Return Policy: When purchasing from johnnyguitars.com you are protected by our 10 day money back guarantee. We offer a 10 day money back guarantee less the actual shipping and handling fees plus a 20% restocking fee on most items. Merchandise must be returned in resalable unused condition with all original components. Closeouts and daily-weekly-monthly specials are not returnable. The Return Policy only applies to retail sales. If your purchase is found to be defective or damaged within 5 days of arrival, please email or call us to inform us of the issue at hand. After 5 days please look at your warranty information if applicable.
ALL RETURNS REQUIRE A ‘RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION’ NUMBER. RETURNS THAT DO NOT HAVE THIS NUMBER WILL BE REFUSED AT SENDERS EXPENSE. RETURNS MUST HAVE THEIR ‘RMA’ NUMBER WRITTEN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE IN CLEAR VIEW OR THE PACKAGE WILL BE REFUSED AT SENDERS COST.
Return Merchandise Authorization Request: You can call Johnny Guitar's at 615-896-5151, or Email us at service@johnnyguitars.com to request an RMA for your product. Please indicate the reason for your return and put ‘Return Authorization Request’ as the subject of the email. Once you receive an RMA number, be sure to include any packaging slips and wrap the package securely. Include your name, address, phone number, and copy of receipt and email with your return package. Write the RMA number ON THE BOX IN CLEAR VIEW and on the copy of the sales invoice inside the box. For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS for the shipment.

Instructions must be followed and electrical equipment purchased with a three prong grounded cord should not be altered or used with adapters for two prong outlets.
